Choose a workshop in painting, metal art or pottery, and spend your mornings working with materials, discovering techniques and developing your ideas.

There is room to experiment, ask questions and enjoy the process, without pressure to produce a perfect result. Share the experience with others who enjoy making things by hand.
Afternoons are yours. Wander through the village, walk in the surrounding countryside, or explore nearby towns, markets and regional food.

A historic setting for a creative week

Art-Bastide is based in Tournon-d’Agenais, a 13th-century bastide—a medieval planned town—in southwest France.

Its historic streets and surrounding countryside provide a setting for a holiday that brings together creativity, local culture and time to yourself.

Accommodation and meals

France wouldn’t be France without a charming stay and delicious meals. On this website (see tab stay) you can choose your stay in a camping a wonderful B&B or hotel in the village or its surroundings, ideal for your creative holiday in France. In some B&Bs there is a small kitchen corner available.You can also enjoy one of the excellent restaurants in the village or nearby.

Costs for a Workshop week

The workshops range from € 500.00 to € 890.00 per person per week. See the different workshops.

Accommodation options—ranging from
camping € 90,00 (for six days) to various types of rooms—cost between € 270,00 and € 570.00 (for six days per person). See: STAY

Meal costs range from € 80.00 (for camping and self-catering six days) to € 350.00 (for full board six days).

3. Once everything is arranged, don't forget to pay the deposit of your "seven days workshop option" to confirm your participation.
