Our Art-Bastide painting vacations offer you time to slow down, paint freely, and reconnect with the simple pleasure of creating.

Set in an authentic medieval village in the French countryside, our workshops welcome all levels, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist.

Here, there’s no pressure, no predefined theme, and no imposed style — just space to explore what inspires you.
We provide a range of materials including acrylics, gouache, inks, pastels, charcoal, and pencils.
Advanced painters are encouraged to experiment further and rediscover their artistic curiosity.

1. First, book a "seven days workshop option" for one of the workshops you're interested in.
2. During this week, you can arrange your travel (flight) and B&B booking. Click here to look

Do I need to have previous painting experience?
Absolutely not. The workshops are open to everyone. You'll be guided at your own pace.

What type of painting do we practice?
We emphasize exploring the medium of paint, colors, and brushstrokes, rather than an academic approach. The goal is expression, experimentation, and enjoyment.

In which language are the workshops conducted?
The workshops are primarily conducted in French and English.

Is it more of a class or a holiday experience?
It's first and foremost a creative holiday experience. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and inspiring—far removed from school or performance pressure.

Who leads the workshops?
You'll be guided by two professional artists, experienced in both creating and teaching. Their role is to guide, encourage, and inspire, without ever judging.

Are materials provided?
Yes. All painting materials are included so you can fully enjoy the experience.

How many participants are there?
Groups are intentionally kept small to ensure personalized guidance and a calm, pleasant atmosphere.

What if I think I'm "not creative"?
That's precisely why this workshop exists. Creativity isn't a talent.
